Home Learning Tasks for the Brilliant Bears
Thursday today, I wonder if Mr Sun will be out today?
Yesterday I was talking with my family and the moon looked like this in the sky:
With a family member, can you talk about where the other half of the moon is?
I have attached a just dance video this morning, it is fast but I know you are getting super good at dancing now, so enjoy!
Can somebody in your house do it with you?
Are you enjoying the new phonics song this week?
Did you manage to spot the different objects on the letters that began with the sounds? I had seen a cake on the c today!
Today, record your own voice and everybody else’s in your house saying “I like_______”
If you do not have a recording device, you could ask a grown-up if you could do it on their phones.
Once you have recorded the voices (if there are pictures, don’t look) play them back and guess whose voice is whose?
If you can do this easily, try using a silly voice.
Did you enjoy maths yesterday? Who knocked over the most targets?
Please watch the attached video to remember the shapes.
Grown-ups can you please make four shapes on the floor, you could use tape, chalk or paper.
Square, circle, rectangle and triangle.
Brilliant Bears, can you trace over the shapes?
Once you have done this, we are going on a shape hunt!
Can you find 5 items of each shape?
Can you talk about the different properties of the shapes?
Topic (Langley Mill Helpers and Heroes)
Helpers of the week:
To be a firefighter you must be very fit! Before you can become a firefighter you have to take something called a fitness test.
I have attached a video for you to see what and how firefighters train.
This video only shows a small clip of how firefighters keep fit!
Do you think you would be fit enough to be a firefighter?
Today, make a firefighter’s fitness obstacle course.
See if you can jog with something really heavy in your hands, maybe you could pull a teddy bear or your toy box, maybe even someone in your family, but be very careful and make sure they are safe!
Please send us the videos of you doing this!
