Home Learning Tasks for the Brilliant Bears
Welcome back Brilliant Bears, I hope you had a great half term. We are still missing you at Nursery.
Another term, another week, another day of home learning.
I know this is different for you, but you are rocking it!
Miss Statham, Mrs Woolgar, Mrs Robinson and Miss Bladon are SO proud of you and thank you for staying home and staying safe.
In nursery we use something called Makaton, Makaton has been designed to help people with learning and communication difficulties, it is designed using signs and symbols alongside speech.
Many people get confused with Makaton and British Sign Language, the reason we use Makaton is due to the use of speech as well as signing.
Your first sign is ‘Good Morning’
Shake your sillies out!
It’s our first day back and I thought the best thing to do this week would be to remind everybody about germs and how we can stay safe and keep the germs away.
I have attached a short video for you to watch to help you understand.
At school, we have a new area in the classrooms called a snuffle station! This is where children will go to cough, sneeze or blow their nose. We have tissues and sanitiser there so that they can clean their hands afterwards.
Catch it, bin it, kill it!
I thought that it would be a good idea to make your own snuffle station. Can you draw some germs to go in there?
I have put a picture of our snuffle station below for inspiration.
