Home Learning Tasks for the Brilliant Bears
Good Morning, we hope you enjoyed the first day back home learning yesterday. How did snuffle station making go? I’d love to see them, why don’t you email me a picture?
Sign of the week:
Dance and freeze this morning with Jack Hartmann.
At school today, we will be learning all about the correct way to wash our hands. This is super important at the moment as washing our hands keeps the germs away!
I have put some pictures of how to wash your hands, they are all mixed up. Can you put them in the right order?
Once you have ordered them, check by following them to wash your hands. Maybe, you could put them in your snuffle station so that you don’t forget?
I have left the video on from yesterday as it gives you lots of information of how to keep the germs away.
Number blocks number 2 today! What can you do with number 2?
I have put some numbers below for you to look at. Can you carefully count them?
Once you have carefully counted them, I would like you to carefully draw the numerals. Make sure you get them the right way round and always start at the top!
Our phonics song. Make sure you are standing up for your letter. What letter is your grown-ups?
Today is a sound spot activity. Adults if you could ask your child to spot each sound in turn please. You could copy this list of jumbeled up letters on to a piece of paper the ask them to find the ‘m’ sound. They could colour them in diffent colours. It is teaching them that these squiggles (letters) represent sounds.
Please write over your name on your name card.
Can you write your name without the name card yet?
Send me pictures, I would love to see.
Today, I would like you to think about what you are thankful for.
Can you make a prayer about this?
Here is mine:
Thank you for keeping all the nursery children and their families safe,
Thank you for the beautiful sunshine and warm weather.
Thank you for all the beautiful things on our planet.
