Monday 13th July 2020

Good Morning Fantastic Foxes, today is the start of our last week of term and we are really looking forward to broadcasting our first ever Leavers’ Video on Friday. It is also going to be lovely seeing you all when you come to collect your Leavers’ Pack.

For our blog today we have Collective Worship, Mathematics and a Summer Reading challenge activity for you to do.

Collective Worship

This week our collective worship is based around moving on and starting our new schools or classes in September. Transition times are always very special at our school and we all look forward to welcoming new children into the school each September, after we have said a special, and sometimes teary goodbye to our wonderful Year 2 children at the end of term.

For this week we are going to be thinking about the story of ‘The Cautious Caterpillar’

Find the story on your class page and read it with your grown ups. Then we would like to think about why Cody was worried about changing from a caterpillar to a butterfly. What did she say about being a caterpillar? Why do you think that she kept saying that?

With your grown-ups help, sign up to be part of the challenge and choose your first book to read. Send us a picture of you reading the book you have chosen in an unusual place around your house. I can’t wait to see where you choose!

Don’t forget to send your completed tasks to so that we can see your fabulous work!
