Tuesday 23rd June 2020

Hello Fantastic Foxes, I think it is going to be a terrific Tuesday today, we hope that you had some fun with your grown-ups completing the first part of our Leavers’ Video. We had fun in school dancing and thinking about our proudest moments. We also finished our fox crafts and took photos for our end of year reports, don’t forget to do that too, I am still busy writing them.

We are going to carry on with all of the tasks and activities you have to do for the Leavers Video. Don’t forget that they are all listed on the letter that your grown-ups had last week and I am going to put two or three on the blog each day. Every time you complete a task send it to us using our class email so that we can start to create our amazing video.

Collective Worship and the maths activities for today are below the Leavers Video Activities, if you have the time.

Leavers Video Activity

We are going to look at the next three activities on the letter today, (the numbers match the activities on the letter so you can keep track at home and tick them off as you do each one)

  1. Get your child to paint/draw/collage/colour the member of staff that was on your letter and send a photo of your child holding it or just a photograph of what they have made.

  1. Send a 10 second video clip of your child dancing to a slow, peaceful song!  They can be dancing anywhere to any song (make it different to the first dance) but please ensure you mute the sound on the video that you send us as we will be adding the dancing to our own song.

  1. Help your child create a poster which says ‘I love my friends’ (you can choose how you make it) and send a photo of them holding it or just a photograph of what they have made.

Collective Worship

This week all of our collective worship activities are based on one of our school key values ASPIRE

The story ‘How To Catch A Star’ by Oliver Jeffers is all about having big dreams and aspirations. Follow the link to watch it,

What are your hopes, dreams and ambitions for the future? Can you think of ways that you could do it, just like the boy in the story?

Follow the link to find the video

Then find the worksheet at

Send your completed tasks to so that we can start adding them to the video.

Your report photos can be sent to the class email address too, I have had some super ones so far, it’s amazing to see how much you have all grown up over the time that you have been learning at home.
