Friday 12th June 2020

Happy Friday Fantastic Foxes, we hope that you have all had a super week and that the rain hasn’t stopped you from doing some super learning and getting outside in the fresh air too!

Phonics / GPS

This week we have done some excellent work using apostrophes, today we are going to carry on with our booklet all about contractions. How far did you get yesterday?  See if you can complete another 2 or 3 pages today!

Collective Worship

It’s our Celebration Collective Worship day today. We often find it very easy to celebrate other people but difficult to celebrate what we ourselves have done. This week I would like you to do something a little different. I would like you to think of 5 reasons as to why you deserve the bucket filler award.

Mathematics

What will the challenge be today?

Playtime

It’s time for a break if you have been hard at work all morning choose something that you enjoy doing, are you having a screen break too or choosing your favourite game?

English

Today is the last day that we are going to use the story ‘The Tiny Seed’ for our English task. If you would like to hear the story again follow the link,

If you have finished your story and your acrostic poem then today I would like you to find the four seasons that are in the book (I am sure you already know what they are!) and show what happens in each season, you could write and draw your ideas as a poster, in a wheel or a little book. Which are you going to choose?
