Collective Worship
This week all of our collective worship activities will be based on one of our school key values learn.
At the very start of the year, Miss Scrivens led some collective worships to help us find out a little more about how our brain works. We are going to have another look at this during the week to check what you have remembered and to see if you think your brains have continued to grow and learn.
Brain facts!
At the start of the year, Miss Scrivens shared some amazing brain facts with you, how many can you remember or find out?
- Which fruit is a brain roughly the same size as?
- What does the brain have billions of?
- How many different parts does a brain have?
- Which two types of memory does your brain have?
Have a go at our little brain quiz and send us your answers we will give you the answers in tomorrow’s blog to see how many you got right.

Class Memories Task
Today for our task we are going to think about all of the Fox stories that we started our year with, do you remember ready ‘A Proper Fox’? It was all about a fox who wasn’t sure how to behave and in the end he had some help from a very kind hen. Follow this link to listen to the story
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoljhHGD3R8&safe=active
Now you have listened to the story, can you think about the best things about being a Fantastic Fox this year. You can write and draw your ideas in your books, make a poster or use your favourite craft to show what you remember and enjoyed.
Fantastic Foxes message
We hope that you have had a super day Foxes and have enjoyed your different tasks, we can’t wait to see what you have done. I’m off now to check the emails and send replies to you and your grown ups.
Love from Miss Jones and Mrs Hallam xx
