Collective Worship

Our Collective Worship value for today is ASPIRE.

This week we are thinking about the 75th anniversary of VE Day. Watch this video about the announcement of VE Day and the celebrations that followed - https://home.bt.com/news/on-this-day/may-8-1945-millions-rejoice-on-ve-day-as-german-surrender-ends-world-war-ii-in-europe-11363979788728 . VE Day, across Europe, was a moment of hope and aspiration. The war had been a long and very tough time. VE Day was used to help the country celebrate after this time. Can you talk with the people at home about the different things people might have aspired to do after the war?

There is a template on the website or you can make your own, are you going to use the Union Jack pattern and colours or something different?
