Home Learning Tasks for The Wonderful Wolves
Good Morning, everyone, it is Friday again. What a lovely week we have had thinking about our time as Wonderful Wolves. It has been lovely to see all the things you have shared with me over the past week. Just a little reminder to send a picture of you with a wolf for your report if you haven’t already. Enjoy your weekend!

This week I would like us to focus on poly-syllabic words, specifically words with 2 syllables. Today I am going to write a list of words – can you ask your children to read the first syllable (before the forward slash) then read the second syllable (the part after the forward-slash) and then put the two syllables together. Once they have done this can they write the word down first writing each syllable on its own line and then as a whole word underneath– I have given an example at the bottom of the words. I have put a few 3 syllable words on to challenge you.

It’s celebration Assembly day again!
Who in your family has done something to celebrate this week? Who has worked their brain the hardest? Who got most answers right in our brain quiz at the start of the week? Make a certificate for the person with the biggest bubble gum brain in your house.
Mathematics
Today I would like you to continue practising your ordering – top marks have a brilliant game where you can order coconuts. https://www.topmarks.co.uk/ordering-and-sequencing/coconut-ordering Start off with ordering up to 100, once you have had a go at this you could have a look at ordering price or mass or capacity.
