Home Learning Tasks for The Wonderful Wolves

Good morning everyone. Can you believe this is the end of your second week of home learning? The teachers at school know you have all be working really hard at home to keep your brains busy.

We are so super proud of you all!!

🗑Trash or Treasure 💎 | Marsden Primary SchoolPhonics / GPS

In phonics we have looked at the /ee/ sound. The spellings we have looked at are “e, ea, ee, and y”

Go to phonics play and there you can you play either “Trash or Treasure” or

“Picnic on Pluto” and play using the /ee/ sound. This will be under phase 3 “ee” or phase 5 “ea”

Go on the CBeebies website – choose a recent bedtime story. Discuss the title with your grown-up at home. What might the book be about, what might happen in the story? Now watch your chosen story stopping it at different points talking about if your predictions are correct and make new predictions. Let us know what story you chose.

Play time is very important and allows you time to relax and have fun. Think of all the games you enjoying playing at playtime. Teach someone at home how to play one of them.

We’ve been spending a lot of time recently counting in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s. You’ve all been getting very good. Can you still remeber how to count in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s. How high can you get? Write them down in your blue books. If you want to have a little bop along while you are doing this you could google some counting songs.

Lunchtime DWFCI41 | Dinner With Family Clipart Images Pack #5106

At school we always set the table and wait for everyone to be ready before we start to eat. My children do this for me at home. Can you set the table for everyone in your house who is eating lunch today? Can you remember the things we have on the tables when eating lunch in school?

See if you can learn your grown-ups our lunch time prayer, Ill start you off -

Lord, Bless the food ...
