Home Learning Tasks for The Wonderful Wolves
Good Morning everyone, here are todays home learning tasks. If you enjoyed the 5-minute kids’ workout during playtime yesterday. There are plenty more on YouTube that you can use to keep active at any time.
Phonics / GPS
In phonics we have looked at the /ay/ sound. The spellings we have looked at are “ai, ay, ea, and a-e”
How many different /ay/ words can you find in 2 minutes – can you explain what all of these words mean?
Our Collective Worship value for today is ASPIRE. What do you want to do when you are older? What things will help you aspire to reach this dream?
Think of short silly story about an animal of your choice. Create a story map using pictures, to retell your story.
You all love playing rock, paper, scissors at play time. Can you play a few rounds with someone at home. Keep a tally of who wins each round.
Can you collect 10 small and movable objects from around your home. Can you order these from smallest to longest?
Help a grown-up to make your lunch.
We have been learning all about the different animal groups. Explain to someone at home what all mammals must have. Can you draw and label 5 different mammals? Show your grown-up the actions we have been learning to remind us what mammals have? Can you remember the action for the other animal groups?
Sing your five favourite nursery rhymes with someone at home.
