This half term our topic is ‘Coastal Capers’. This topic was chosen to further develop the children’s understanding of the world around them, including the changes in seasons, and looking at seasides in the past and present and pirate and mermaid crafts and activities. We will be spending time learning outdoors and have a trip to look forward to.
Important Information
Please ensure you signed up to Dojo as we will use this app as the form of communication between home and class teacher(s). This will include information about awards on a Friday. Please check the app after school on a Thursday to see if your child has been chosen for an award in our special assembly on Friday mornings. Please make sure questions and queries are about learning. Any other issues should be directed to the main school office.
- Dojo will only be responded to during weekdays between 8.30 am and 4.30 pm.
- Dojo will be used to notify you if your child has been chosen for an award for our Friday Celebrations – 9am.
Please remember to continue to read at home at least five times per week and practise the sounds and key words in the brown envelope. Once you have 7 stamps your child will receive a brand new book during celebration assembly which you will be invited along to!
Please support us in preparing your child for year 1 by increasing their independence skills and encouraging them to read and write (including numbers)
